Make sure you have a few packs of wet wipes with you. Wet wipes have so many amazing uses from freshening up between flights, cleaning up messes and spills, the numerous nappy changes it can even be used to remove makeup. It’s always good to pack medication for unforeseen illness such as vomiting, upset stomachs or fever. Check with your healthcare practitioner for natural calming supplements for anxious little ones. A backpack is great to keep on-board with those numerous packs of wet wipes, medication, change of clothing for each kid because let’s face it we have all been there and would rather be prepared.

I highly recommend using pull-ups your little one is still in nappies or potty trained and not able to hold it in. A good pair of headphones for kids are great to help them settle down try downloading familiar calming sounds or your little one’s favorite nursery or lullaby songs. Try to stick to your “normal routine” as much as possible with younger children to prevent meltdowns. The best way to do this is to book flights around their sleeping times, make sure they get their snacks and meals at the right time. Packing in your little one’s favorite soft toy and blanket is a must. For breastfeeding mums, you can get special sterilizing zip lock bags for traveling to sterilize breast pumps, bottles, and pacifiers. For babies or sensitive little ones, you can look at the option of noise reducing ear muffs. These can be found at most baby shops or online.
