The coconut meat is cold-pressed and goes through a filtration process.  This form of pressing leaves all the good micro-nutrients in the oil and the the coconut aroma. Most medical research on the health benefits of coconut oil is based on the usage of Virgin oil.

Refined Coconut oil: is made from pressing dried coconut meat otherwise known as ‘copra’. This method consists of alot of refining removing the coconut taste and most of it’s micro-nutrients. This form of coconut oil is much cheaper than Virgin coconut oil.
